City of White Plains Traffic Division of Parking

Description

The Traffic Division of Parking is an agency of the city government which operates, manages, and maintains the City of White Plains Municipal Parking System (MPS). The MPS includes eight garages and 23 surface lots throughout the city. It also includes all on-street parking meters in White Plains. The Department of Parking is responsible for the following duties:

- General cleaning
- Landscaping
- Meter revenue collection
- Meter revenue processing
- Parking facility maintenance
- Citywide signage maintenance and installation
- Citywide traffic signal maintenance and installation
- Citywide pavement markings maintenance
- Parking facility snow removal
