TRANSCOM (Transportation Operations Coordinating Committee)

Description

A consortium of 16 transportation and public safety agencies in the tri-state region. TRANSCOM aims to assist the region in transportation system management by facilitating multi-agency coordination and collaboration. This is primarily done by collecting data from its member agencies and 3rd parties and then verifying and sharing data across the region. TRANSCOM also assists with the deployment of ITS and communications infrastructure for its member agencies.
