Description

Agreement between NYSTA and NYSDOT. The NYSTA Transportation Security Operations Center agrees to issue TRANS alerts for incidents which block or close the highway. They also agree to place incident information on 511NY (operated by NYSDOT), as well as issue a floodgate message and web banner when appropriate. This supports the broadcast of traveler information.
