Description

Resource sharing and assistance agreement between the New York State Office of Emergency Management, NYSP, New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control, and local governments. In the event of an emergency, equipment, personnel and VMS may be used to support security in evacuated areas, protect critical infrastructure during evacuation and reentry, support traffic and access control points for areas where travel restrictions or evacuations are identified, and reroute traffic. This contributes to evacuation and reentry management, and disaster traveler information services in the region.
